The Singles Club was off to a great start for the New Year with a
celebration party at the beautiful home of member Ellen Jodway.
Our thanks go out to Ellen and her crew of Lori Witteck, Glee
Miller and Sharon Lane, who provided the festive decorations and
clean up, and to all the participants who brought the delicious
food we enjoyed.

Our Singles Club Happy Hour/Dinner continues into the new year
at Laishley Crab House. This month we meet on Wednesday,
February 14 at 5 p.m. for an hour of cocktail time followed by
dinner around 6 p.m. Come and enjoy Valentine’s Day dinner with
your Singles Club friends! If you plan to attend, please contact
Mary Ann Brunkhorst no later than Monday, February 12 at

New hours for our Tuesday night Game Night! We will now meet
a half hour earlier every Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the PGICA
building. If you have a game you like to play and would like to incorporate in with
the present Mexican Train, Mah jongg and Manipulation, bring it along. Pizza will
be ordered around 7 p.m., so if you are interested in pizza please bring $3.50.

Our “Dine Around the World” has found a new night. This will allow us to enjoy
restaurants which have not previously been open to us as a group on Fridays. We
will meet on Thursday, February 23 at 5 p.m. at Prime Steakhouse in Port
Charlotte. Prime Steakhouse is known for quality beef, pork and chicken dining.
Carpooling will be available at the PGICA building and we will leave the parking lot
at 4:30 p.m. Please be on time; some of the restaurants require the whole group to
be in attendance before
