         It is here at last! The 7  Annual “Share the Love for the Kids Home Tour”
         begins Saturday, February 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please buy your tickets
         and come enjoy our 6 beautiful homes and one garden. The Home Tour
         begins at the Punta Gorda Isles Civic Association. You can purchase tickets
         for $25 and can be purchased online at www.beyondourselves.peapps.com
         or at the PGICA lobby February 1 and 2. Please make checks payable to
         Beyond Ourselves. On Tour Day, February 3, tickets will be $30. There will
         also be raffle baskets at the PGICA. So, gather your friends, make a day of
         it, and have fun trying to be the highest bidder on one of these wonderful
         baskets. You will be helping the children of Charlotte County while enjoying
         beautiful homes and a garden. All workers who are signed up to help on the
         day of the Tour can preview the homes the night before, but remember you
         need a ticket to view the homes.

         Beyond Ourselves presented a check to Peace River Wildlife Center from
         the distribution of funds raised at the Beyond Ourselves Bash for local
         designated charities. Dr. Robin Jenkins (Veterinarian) and Callie Stahl
         (Executive Director) accepted the donation from Deborah Huddleston
         (Beyond Ourselves representative). PRWC is currently raising money for
         their future new building and maintaining their ongoing budget. They rescue,
         rehabilitate, and release wildlife. In addition, Peace River Wildlife Center




                                                                        provides education to the community about
                                                                        nature in our local environment.

                                                                        Charlotte County Homeless Shelter: We need
                                                                        volunteers to serve dinner at the CCHC on
                                                                        Saturday, February 3, the same day as the
                                                                        Home Tour. Arrive at 4:30 p.m. and leave by
                                                                        6 p.m. Contact Ruth Kliment at
                                                                        kliment2FL@comcast.net or at 941-347-7776 to
                                                                        volunteer. The next dinner will be on March 3.

                                                                        Join us for our monthly meeting on February 21
                                                                        at 10 a.m. at the PGICA. We meet monthly with
                                                                        a pre-set agenda. Our agenda includes making
                                                                        great plans, looking at new opportunities for our
                                                                        future endeavors, and generally being creative.
                                                                        All members are invited to attend, but also if you
         are considering joining our group, this is an excellent way to hear about what we do for outreach in our community.
