come to the Tiki Hut on Charlotte Harbor behind the Sheraton Four Points Hotel. We congregate for an informal social
time at 5:30 on the second Thursday of each month. You’ll know who we are by our dive club name tags, as we
congregate on the beach in the Adirondack chairs or at the picnic tables. We are always happy to meet fellow divers
who enjoy conversations about diving and who also might know about special dive equipment, far-flung or worldly dive
         experiences, or underwater photography.

You can also check out our website, www.pgidiveclub.com for information about the Club, see photos, and find the
membership application form which can be downloaded and brought to a meeting. We collect dues of $15 per member
per year, assuming you are already a member of the PGI Civic Association. You can also send an email to our club
address on the banner at the beginning of this article if you have questions about the club or our activities and
scheduled events. We hold elections for officers after the first of the year, so if you are interested in becoming involved
to help run our club, we look forward to your input.

Quote of the day: “Take only pictures, kill only time, leave only bubbles” is a great quote for us divers to keep in mind,
especially as we consider the deteriorating conditions of our reefs and oceans. Of course, we do know divers who enjoy
the fruits of their labors during lobster gathering season, so enjoy those, too!

Let’s take the plunge, make some bubbles, and enjoy safe diving, everyone!

MEN’S GOLF GROUP Mike Fauci, mmto315@gmail.com

As we welcome in the new year, we are excited to announce the start-up of a second men’s
golf group at the PGICA. Recently we have had several inquiries and requests about playing on
shorter/executive and/or 9-hole courses. This new group will be a perfect fit for men who wish
to get back into golf, or wish to cut back from the 4-plus hours on the longer courses.

Jack Gardner, coordinator of the Hofer golf group, has agreed to help this new group get
underway, using some of the technology learned by the highly successful Thursday golf group.
If you would like more information about this new group or would like to get on our e-mail list,
                               contact Mike Fauci at mmto315@gmail.com.
