JFF ~ JUST FOR FUN Kerry Foscardo, kerfos@aol.com
As we enter the joyous holiday season our thoughts include reflecting on what we are thankful for
and gathering with family and friends to celebrate. All JFF members are encouraged to join the
annual Thanksgiving Dinner at Ponce Park on Thursday, November 23. This is a potluck style
gathering which has been very popular during the past recent years. Check the Club website for
starting time and other details.
As we continue with the holiday season, mark your calendars for Sunday, December 3 for our
Christmas Holiday Party. We are pleased to be returning to the Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club for what
promises to be a wonderful evening of merriment with our friends. Sign up soon since there is a
maximum number that can attend.
Let’s start out the month with a TGIF Happy Hour on Friday, November 3. The location will be
announced in the
Flamingo Express and
on the JFF web site.
The JFF Annual Meeting will be on
Wednesday, November 15 at PGICA at 5
p.m. Let’s all attend this very important
meeting which will include voting for our
slate of board members. Arrive hungry
because the evening includes a pizza
party.
Host & Toast is a monthly JFF activity
and a lovely way to spend an evening
with just a few other Club members. The
small group enjoys a good group meal in
the intimacy of the home of a Club
