Letter of Appreciation for the Isles Girls & Guys

I recently had the opportunity to work with the Isles Girls and Guys on an estate sale for my parents and it was a great
experience! My parents have collected over 25 years of memories and belongings while down in Punta Gorda so
there was a lot of work to do in preparing for the sale. On Tuesday prior to the sale, over 20 volunteers came to my
parents' house to set up and price everything. Their professionalism and expertise was only surpassed by their work
ethic and hustle. They had the entire house and garage set up and priced in about four hours. I enjoyed watching
them work and appreciated their camaraderie.

The days of the sale were just as impressive. We had a huge crowd on Friday (probably 200+ when we opened at
8 a.m.) and they knew just how to handle parking and managing the line to enter. Their organization and experience
really paid off. Throughout the sale, they guided the customers through the house and acted as liaison for any
negotiations; they really made it easy! They tallied money at the end of each day and did a great job cleaning up and
boxing what didn't sell so my parents could call their charity of choice.

I estimated around 160 man hours to set up and execute this sale and it all happened over small parts of three days!
I can't imagine a more effective way to do this and we were more than happy to donate to the Isles Girls and Guys for
their effort. They certainly earned it!
