Happy February!
By now the Punta Gorda Isles Cruising Club is well into its activities for the 2018 season. Our
seasonal residents have returned in force, bringing with them tales of the winter northland and
reminding us why we chose to live in a delightful bit of paradise called Punta Gorda.
Our Happy Hours each Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. Andrews South Golf Club are a
highlight of our week. We feel very blessed that the St. Andrews South Golf Club shares their wonderful clubhouse and
wait staff with us.
Happy Hours are an opportunity to meet new club members and to catch-up with old friends. Also, we use Happy Hour
as a time to sign up for our various outside activities: plays at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre, dart nights at the Ice
House, luncheon cruises, overnight cruises, picnics, Ladies’ and Men’s lunches, etc.
We welcome new members: Donald Kilgore, Tom Lemmink and Tina Del Vecchio, John and Linda Schlinger. Welcome
aboard!
The PGI Cruising Club invites PGI Civic Association members to attend a Happy Hour to meet us and to see if our
program appeals to you. Give us a try. We look forward to meeting you.
