Beach. We are looking to go with Jupiter
Dive Shop on the vessel “Kyalami” (which
means “My Home” in Zulu). Word is that
this shop pampers divers who go below for
some up-close encounters with these huge
fish. Kyalami operates out of Jupiter
Inlet Marina and is the closest dive boat to
good dive sites. In addition to being the
closest, she is also the fastest dive boat in
the area giving us less time above water
and more time below, an important factor
for good diving. Besides the Goliath
Grouper dives we also have opportunities
to do reef or wreck dives as well in the
area. When you can get in two dives a day
with such a good operation, it guarantees a
lot of fun. If we succeed in making some of
these dives, you’ll see photos of our
         adventures in the next Commentator.

form which can be downloaded and brought to a meeting. Dues
are $15 per member per year. If you have questions about the club
or our activities and scheduled events, you can send a message to

Remember, divers, the deeper you go, the cooler it gets. Let’s get
wet, make bubbles, and be sure to practice safe diving everyone!

VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH - DECEMBER 2016 Susan Della-Corte, susandc.mail@gmail.com

The Shorebird Bowling league kicked off a new season on September 25. It looks like it will be
another great season. We might still have spots available to add additional full-time bowlers. If
you’re interested in joining our league, please contact Mike ASAP. If you’re not sure about a
bowling league, just come out and try it one Monday. The league usually needs substitutes every
                             week.

We bowl every Monday. After a short warm-up period we promptly start bowling at 3 p.m. You do
not need to have your own equipment. Balls and shoes are available at the alleys.

The alleys are Bowland, 3192 Harbor Boulevard, Port Charlotte. For additional information please
email Mike Fauci (Hawks) at mmto315@gmail.com
