What a wonderful summer this has been for the Singles Club. In June we celebrated and recognized the men in our
group for Father’s Day at the Punta Gorda Elks Club with lunch and bocce ball. On July 4, we had a wonderful picnic at
the home of Ron Keebler who grilled delicious chicken to go with other tasty picnic fare including numerous delectable
desserts provided by our members. Monty’s Italian Restaurant in Punta Gorda, Beyond the Sea Restaurant and Farlow’s
on the Water Restaurant in Englewood were the locations
for our Dine Around the World gatherings.

Please remember that the location for our happy hour/
dinner has changed and that we will be meeting at Laishley
Crab House Restaurant at 5 p.m. on Wednesday,
September 13. If you plan to attend please contact Mary
Ann Brunkhorst no later than Monday, September 11 at
941-204-7172 or abs51@aol.com.

Dine Around the World will be held on Friday, September 22
at 5 p.m. at Prime Steakhouse in Port Charlotte. If you need
a ride, please meet at the PGICA building for a 4:30 p.m.
departure. Upon receiving your email announcement please
make your reservation for dinner and carpool by contacting

Are you sitting home on Tuesday evenings? Why not come
by the PGICA building and join other club members who are testing their skills on the games Manipulation and Mexican
Train? Your choice: cards or dominoes. Don’t know how to play either one? We would be glad to teach you how. Play

Sunday movie and dinner this month will be on the third
Sunday, September 17 at the Regal Cinema at Port
Charlotte Mall followed by dinner at Ruby Tuesday or any
other restaurant of your choosing. Please contact Mary Ann
Brunkhorst for movie selections and times if you are
interested in attending.

Plans are already underway for our annual Christmas Party
to be held this year on Wednesday, December 13 at
Laishley Crab House Restaurant. Be sure to reserve this
day on your calendar for a fantastic time!

Our membership is growing and we would love to add you
