It is great to hear that so many JFF members are having travel adventures this summer and will
have new tales to share with us when they return. In return, we will be able to let them know all of
the nice get-togethers we are having while they are away.

Starting our month off is
TGIF social time at
Scotty’s Brewhouse at
Fisherman’s Village. We
plan to meet on Friday,
September 1 at 5 p.m.

On Wednesday,
September 20 there will be
a JFF event for pizza and
game night at PGICA
beginning at 5:30 p.m. We'll set up tables with
different games to choose from which will
include Mexican Train, Jacks and Marbles,
Poker, Left, Center, Right, and Farkle. Salad
and Pizza will be served so bring a beverage
and choose a table. Join your friends for a
night of friendly competition. Please sign up so
we know how much pizza to order.

The attendance has been great at our joint
mixers with Paradise Friends. The next one will
be on Thursday, September 21 at 5 p.m. at St. Andrews.

The JFF Men's Lunch will be on Wednesday, September 27 at The Ice House in Punta Gorda. Sign up is not necessary
so just show up at noon.

JFF Ladies Lunch will also be on Wednesday, September 27, but at the Mint Asian Cuisine in Punta Gorda. The menu is
extensive and bound to please everyone. Please sign up for this luncheon so the restaurant can accommodate our
group with ease.

Girl’s Game Night will be at 7 p.m. on Monday, September 11.
Sign up on the website for this popular evening of games, snacks
and laughter.

Join us on Wednesday, September 13 for the monthly JFF Dine
Around at 5 p.m. at 88 Keys restaurant in the Wyvern Hotel. This
new restaurant features contemporary American Cuisine nestled in
the backdrop of local authentic art and an art deco piano bar. Sign
up for what promises to be a memorable evening of fine dining.

Mah Jongg is scheduled every Thursday at 10 a.m. to noon at St.
Andrews. There is an option to stay and have lunch (cash only).

Looking ahead to October 24, join us for Octoberfest at Sandra’s Restaurant in Punta Gorda. There will be a cash bar
starting at 5 p.m. which will be followed by a group dinner. Come enjoy the food and music of Germany with your JFF
friends. Register on the JFF website and pay early, as only 80 people fit into the restaurant.

San Juan, St. Kitts, St. Maarten, Nassau and St. Thomas will be the ports we are visiting on our upcoming cruise.
Embarkation is in San Juan and debarkation in Fort Lauderdale. There are already 35 cabins booked for this terrific
