Happy Father’s Day!

Celebrate Father’s Day on Saturday, June 17 at Noon at the Punta Gorda Elks Club located on Shore Drive as we enjoy
lunch and play Bocce. If you have never played before, don’t worry. Our host, George Farruggio, will teach you or help
you brush up on your game. Dress casually and wear tennis shoes. Deadline for reservations is June 10. Call or email

Are you sitting home on Tuesday evenings? Why not come by the PGICA building and join other club members who are
testing their skills on the games Manipulation and Mexican Train? Your choice, cards or dominoes. Don’t know how to
play either one? We would be glad to teach you how. Play time is from 5;30 to 8:30 p.m. Direct your questions to Jean

Relax with us on the second Wednesday of the month at
5 p.m. at Hurricane Charley’s restaurant. This month the
date is June 14. Dinner orders will be taken during the
hour long cocktail time and served at approximately 6

Dine Around the World will be held on Friday, June 23, at
5 p.m. at Monty’s Restaurant. Upon receiving your email

Sunday movie and dinner this month will be on the
second Sunday, June 11 at the Regal Cinema at Port
Charlotte Mall, followed by dinner at Ruby Tuesday or
any other restaurant of your choosing. Please contact
Mary Ann Brunkhorst for movie selections and times if
you are interested in attending.

Some of the activities being considered for our entertainment over the slower summer months include: Tampa Bay
baseball games, Seminole Casino, day trips to places like Matalacha and Pine Island, the Navigator Restaurant or
Kingfisher cruises, and All Around Tours trips. Let us know what might interest you, this is YOUR club and we want to
know your interests in addition to our movie, dining and games events.
