Even though we will miss the members who are traveling, at their summer homes or with their other
families up north, we still have a lot of members in town and we will definitely continue to have fun
all summer long.

Our Cinco de Mayo party was attended by over 100
energetic members. The Sailors Sangria was a hit, and
so was the taco buffet and tasty desserts. However, the
bright donkey piñata eventually lost his head but was
filled with treats to be savored by all.

On Thursday, June 22, we are having a fun-filled group
dinner at Ice House Pub, right here in Punta Gorda on
US 41 North. Dinner will start about 5 p.m. and is
followed by a JFF Dart Game. Space is limited and
filling up very fast, so sign up quickly.

We will be doing something different with Mix & Mingle social time at St. Andrews for the summer. We are pleased to be
joining Paradise Friends for joint mixers with the first held on Thursday, June 15 at 5 p.m.

The JFF Men's lunch this month will be
on Wednesday, June 28 at noon at
Ryans' Subs and Sports Grill which is
located at 5268 Duncan Road (Hwy 17).
The guys are really enjoying their
monthly lunches. Sign up is not
necessary, so just show up.

JFF Ladies Lunch will be lunching out
and about at noon on Wednesday, June
28. Location will be Royal India located
at 1032 Tamiami Trail (US 41) # 11 in
Port Charlotte. They offer a delicious
lunch buffet, which is a good opportunity
to sample multiple dishes. Please sign
up for this luncheon so the restaurant
can accommodate our group with ease.
Girl’s Game Night will be at 7 p.m. on
Monday, June 12. Sign up on the
website for this popular evening of
games, snacks and laughter.
