PGI BOWLERS Mike Fauci, mmto315@gmail.com
The second half of the Shorebird Bowling League’s
season will end on April 16. There are only four points
separating the top four teams. With eight points
available each week this will be another tight race right
up until the last frame of the season. The awards
banquet always proves to be a fun night with tons of
cash prizes handed out. This season our banquet is
being held on April 28 at St. Andrews South Golf Club.
Pictured here are the Snowbirds, one of our PGI teams.
Substitute bowlers can only be used
on April 2 and April 9, so now is the
time come on out and try bowling
before our season ends. When we resume bowling next September, we’ll
have two additional alleys available so there will be plenty of room for new
bowlers whether they are individuals or full teams. If you have any interest in
subbing or joining a team, please contact Mike.
We bowl every Monday. After a
short warm up period we promptly
start bowling at 3 p.m. You do not
need to have your own equipment.
Balls and shoes are available at the
alleys. The people are friendly and
the beer is cold. The alleys are Bowland, 3192 Harbor Boulevard, Port
Charlotte.
