Palmer, a Master Gardener with the Charlotte County Master Gardener Program gave an interesting talk to members on
our Florida landscapes and answered many questions about problem yards and plants.

Darts for Newcomers and Others at the Ice House Pub,
408 Tamiami Trail, on June 27 is an activity for which
you’ll need to get on the email list. Wayne Erickson,
wayneerickson48@gmail.com, emails all interested
parties two weeks before the event. The first 32 folks to
respond are in the friendly tournament. Meet around 5
p.m. to eat or be there by 5:45 p.m. to get your team
assignment (purely random). If you can’t make the event
after signing up, let Wayne know so that others wanting
to play have the opportunity. Mark Lee and Dan Kain
were winners of the April event.

Biking with Friends are still pedaling through town on
Thursday mornings. Meeting at the PGI Grill at Bal Harbor
and Aqui Esta, the group leaves at 8:30 and returns after a
ten mile or so ride for refreshments. Contact Sue

more information. Many members rode together in Venice
recently and had lunch at Luna’s, while other club members
