Happy July Fourth! May all your celebrations be lit with fellowship and fun!

home of Ron Keebler at 411 Medici Court. The celebration will
go on rain or shine. Bring your bathing suits and favorite

Brunkhorst by July 2 at 941-204-7172 or mabs51@aol.com to

Are you sitting home on Tuesday evenings? Why not come by
the PGICA building and join other club members who are
testing their skills with the games Manipulation and Mexican
Train? Your choice: cards or dominoes. Don’t know how to
play either one? We would be glad to teach you how. Play
time is from 5:30 to 8:30. Direct your questions to Jean
LaMantia at 941-525-4266 or jeanlamantia@yahoo.com.

Sunday movie/dinner has been canceled for the summer due to everyone’s varied schedules and
will start up again in September. Please contact MaryAnn Brunkhorst if you have questions. Also
watch your emails for any future information on a possible Labor Day get-together.
One of our singles, Cynthia James, who grew up in Illinois and made Punta Gorda her permanent
home in 2012, passed away in May. “Cindy” became a member of the First United Methodist
Church in Punta Gorda and was a member of the PGI Singles Club since 2015. She loved her
socials and especially playing and hosting cards at her home. She also loved her family, friends,
and her ice cream. Just talking with her was such a delight as she had stories to tell and made you
laugh the whole time. She was a beautiful person with a warm and pleasant smile and disposition to
go along with that. She will definitely be missed by the Singles Group and especially her card-
playing friends. Cynthia James
Our membership is growing and we would love to add you to the group. Any member of the PGICA who is single and
interested in joining should pick up an application at the PGICA desk or contact Jean LaMantia at 941-525-4266 or
jeanlamantia@yahoo.com.
