Happy Holidays! December is a wonderful month for spending with family and friends at joyous occasions. May your
days be happy!

Our usual second Wednesday of the month get together
this month has become a special affair in the form of our
annual Christmas Party. Wednesday, December 13 we
will gather at Laishley Crab House for drinks and dinner.
Announcement emails have already been sent out, but if
you missed yours and wish to sign up now or have
questions, please contact Mary Ann Brunkhorst at

Tuesday night Game Night continues to be a favorite
activity for our members. We meet every Tuesday from
5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the PGICA building. If you have a
game you like to play and would like to incorporate in
with the present Mexican Train, Mah-jongg and
Manipulation, bring it along. Jean LaMantia would be
glad to answer any of your questions about this activity,

Our usual Dine Around the World will not be held this
month as our scheduled date for that falls on the Friday
before Christmas. Christmas is a wonderful time, but we
are aware that not everyone can be with their family at
this time, so we are planning on our usual get together
for dinner for those who will still be in town. Watch your
emails for further information.

The annual Punta Gorda Rim Canal Boat Parade is
scheduled for Saturday, December 23 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Please watch your e-mail for further details.

The New Year will be upon us soon! We are planning for
our New Year's Eve party, usually held at the home of
one of our members. Further information will be coming
during the month of December. Also watch for future
announcements about the “Share the Kids Home Tour,” a very important affair which helps Charlotte County’s children in
need. The date for this is February 3, 2018.

Come share the fun with the PGI Singles Club! Our membership is growing (we have 4 new members recently) and we
would like to see more share in our friendship and activities. Any single PGICA member who is interested in joining
should contact Jean LaMantia at 941-525-4266. Applications can be picked up at the PGICA front desk.
