MARCH BASKETWEAVING CLASS: Tuesdays, March 6, 13, & 20, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. LARGE POCKET
                      BASKET. Level: Advanced Beginner, Pre-requisite: One beginner class or previous basketweaving
                      experience. The $65 class fee includes all weaving materials necessary to complete the basket. Class

                        CRAFTING WITH MARY FRANCIS: Thursdays, February 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or February 22, 1 to
                        3 p.m. Join Mary Frances Adair and make three projects. You will learn paper crafting methods,
                        designs, creativity with cards and other artistic items. The small class fee of $20 includes all materials
                        and instruction. Register 3 days ahead by calling PGICA, 941-637-1655. Payment due at registration.

         JEWELRY DESIGNING CLASS: Monday, February 19, 1 to 3 p.m. Come and learn to create a necklace or bracelet
         using your choice of a variety of stones, crystals, metals, and/or other beads. Learn how to design using simple
         techniques and tools. If you have an outfit that needs a jewelry item, wear it or bring it along and match your necklace or
         bracelet to your outfit. All materials and tools for creating will be provided. Cindy Wheeler instructs this fun class. Cost is
         $30. Advance registration at least 2 days prior to class is required and payment is requested when registering. Minimum

                  ORIGAMI BOX MAKING: February 9, 1 to 3 p.m. Plan to join Joanne Stratos for some fun in making a lovely
                  origami valentine box for that special valentine. Great to use as special, decorative gift box for small items,
                  such as jewelry, gift cards, etc. All materials and instruction are included in price of $20. Packets to make
                  another valentine box can be bought for $10. Call 637-1655 or stop by the office to register.

                         LET’S GO FISHING: Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. for six weeks beginning on Wednesday,
                         February 21. An introductory course in Florida fishing is being offered at the PGI Civic Association on
                         Shreve Street. Topics to be covered include fishing techniques, tackle selection, rigging, knot tying,
                         lures, baits, cast nets, fish identification, tides, and fishing regulations for fishing in fresh and salt
                         waters of Southwest Florida. Rods, reels, lures, nets and other fishing equipment will be
                         demonstrated during the class and there will be a number of useful hand-outs issued to students. The
         class is geared towards beginning anglers, but more experienced fishermen will pick up helpful tips as well. The
         instructor is long time local fishing guide Capt. Ralph Allen who might even reveal the locations of a few local
         hotspots! The course is open to all members of the public. The cost for the class is $45 and advance registration is
         recommended by calling 941-637-1655.

         FINANCES AND INVESTING FOR WOMEN: Lew Bennett, CFP, partner of Landsberg Bennett Private Wealth
         Management, will present the following educational programs designed to help empower women with financial
         decisions. These are not sales presentations and no product-specific investments will be discussed:
         Introduction to Annuities, February 8, 3 to 4 p.m. What is an Annuity? Variable, fixed, and indexed annuities defined.
         We will discuss the different types of annuities, their advantages and disadvantages.
         Identity Theft: February 22, 3 to 4 p.m. Help defend yourself against identity theft—We’ll discuss the warning signs of
         financial fraud, how vulnerable you are to identity theft and what you should do if it happens to you. Join us for a free
         seminar.

         DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY ADVANCED: 9 a.m., second Wednesday every month. This group of dedicated digital
         photographers study both picture taking techniques and processing pictures with Adobe Photo Shop or similar software.
         The group occasionally takes photographic field trips. If you are interested in improving your skills, are familiar with
         Adobe Photo Shop or other similar programs, please come and join them. Free, no registration.

         BALLROOM DANCE CLASSES: Weekly, Thursdays, 4 to 5 p.m. Lynn Pitz, former New York Athletic Club ballroom
         dance instructor, teaches classes suitable for the beginner and intermediate dancer, in a variety of Latin International
         and American styles. Leather soled shoes should be worn for class. The cost of each class is $10 per person. Don’t sit

                                 HULA and POLYNESIAN DANCE WORKOUT: Thursdays, 10 to 11 a.m. Come try it for
                                 free. Research shows that dance has many health benefits. It helps you to:  boost memory,
                                 improve flexibility, reduce stress, diminish depression, help your heart, lose weight, balance
                                 better, increase energy and make friends. It’s low impact and fun! If you have a pareo, bring
