PGI FISHING CLUB James McCarty, president@pgifishingclub.org
Fall is finally underway and we have experienced our first major cold front. Fishing in the
harbor had been fantastic for tarpon, red fish, and snook prior to the cold front. Tarpon fishing
was so good catch and release numbers of ten fish was common in a half day of fishing in the
harbor. Not all is lost with colder weather. We look forward to sheepshead migration into the
harbor for the winter and larger trout moving onto grass flats and into the canals. Note pictures
of club members with nice catches: tarpon, trout, and snook.
