Believe it or not, the Holidays and Punta Gorda Founders
Day are quickly approaching. Well, this fact has not been
lost on the busy knitters of the In Stitches group of
PGICA. Those of you who happened to stroll through
Hector House Square last year, perhaps while enjoying
the Saturday morning Farmer's Market, got to see the
lovely handicrafts of your talented neighbors.

Not prepared to let those efforts stand alone, we’ve taken up the challenge to make
it even bigger and better this year.

So, from December 1 until January 10 you will be treated to a cheerful display of;
Nutcrackers, Christmas Trees, Santa, Snowman, Flamingo and a variety of
beautifully wrapped trees,
etc.; all knitted or crocheted
by our members! We call this
Yarn Bombing. It has been
popular for years; especially
in Europe and South
America. There will even be a
Yarn Bombed Bicycle.

We hope you will stop by and
enjoy our contribution to the
Holiday festivities.

The Euchre Group is playing on Friday evenings from 7 p.m. to about 9:30 p.m. We meet at PGICA and play progressive
