FLORIDIANS
                                                                         Ken Fish, 941-421-2681, Kenjudfish@comcast.net

Our mission is to provide social opportunities. Our goals are to make friends,
                                         participate, learn, and enjoy life.

         Your Floridian Team has continued
to work hard to keep popular
activities on the calendar for the
past year. When you see them,
please wish them a very happy
holiday season and thank them for
their hard work to make this club a
         continued success. As 2017 draws
to a close we can look back at
thirteen years of the club’s history
         and realize that while several
         changes have occurred over that
time, our mission and goals have
         remained the same. We have
         always been fortunate to have
         members step forward and accept
positions of leadership to keep the
many activities on the schedule. It
takes at least a dozen people to fill
         the key activity coordinator and
club officer positions. As the club
looks to the future it is essential that more members step forward to volunteer for positions in the leadership structure.

The Team has planned several activities for December. Listed below is the current schedule. However, because
adjustments sometime need to be made, it is important to read the Pineapplegrams and check the club calendar.
Speaking of the calendar, please take time to go to the site to view the schedule. If you need help in accessing the
calendar, please go to the Floridian column in the October edition of the Commentator.

The Holiday Dinner-Dance is scheduled for Wednesday, December 13 at the Isles Yacht Club. The cost is $50 per
person for members and $55 for non-members. Entrée choices include Mahi-Mahi, Chicken or Prime Rib. If you want to
reserve a table, it can be done by having one person collect all the money for either six or eight people. Then send all
the checks with names and entrée choices in one envelope to Darlene Rosen, 941-505-1492, 2602 Magdalena Dr.,
Punta Gorda, FL, 33950. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m.
