have a Dive Club boat in the Annual Boat parade which should
be a wonderful event for those who will decorate the vessel and
then join the parade for a fun evening on the water.

brought to a meeting. Dues are $15 per member per year. You
can also send an email to our club address on the banner at
the beginning of this article if you have questions about the club
or our activities and scheduled events. We hold elections for
officers after the first of the year, so if you are interested in
becoming involved in helping run our club, we look forward to
your input.

Remember, divers, the deeper you go, the cooler it gets. Let’s
get wet, make some bubbles, and enjoy safe diving, everyone!

The first half of the Shorebird Bowling league’s
season is about to finish. We have numerous teams
fighting for the lead which will most likely be decided
on the last week of bowling at the end of this month.
The last week of bowling is “Position Night”. On
Position Night the lead team bowls against the team
in second. The team in third bowls the fourth place
team, etc. This format makes for an exciting finish.

The second half of the season starts in early
January. At that point we will reset
the standings, allowing new teams
and additional full time bowlers to
join our league. December is a

perfect time to come check us out
and even bowl as a sub if you
want. Maybe even add a new
bowling ball to your wish list. If
you’re interested in joining our league or subbing please contact Mike.

We bowl every Monday. After a short warm up period we promptly start
bowling at 3 p.m. You do not need to have your own equipment. Balls and
shoes are available at the alleys.

The alleys are Bowland, 3192 Harbor Boulevard, Port Charlotte.
